Perseverance Beer, is a collaborative undertaking which involves nine central Ohio breweries producing their very own versions of the brew, with proceeds donated to the Ohio Restaurant Employee Relief Fund. The first seven batches of Perseverance are available at Outerbelt, Combustion Brewing, Three Tigers Brewing Company, Land-Grant Brewing, Zaftig Brewing, and DankHouse Brewing Company. eGrove City Brewing Co. will release its batch on July 18 with last batch by Platform Beer Co. released before the end of the month.
The Ohio Restaurant Association Education Foundation, a 501(c)(3), in collaboration with the Ohio Restaurant Association, has formed the Ohio Restaurant Employee Relief Fund to activate emergency funding for personnel in the foodservice industry who have been affected by COVID-19. Donations from the general public and corporations are encouraged to allow the Ohio Restaurant Association Education Foundation to continue to provide relief and aid to individuals who require it the most. Even with restaurants re-opening, many are operating at diminished capacity, and the financial need is still great for so many of these employees.
Restaurants are cornerstones of every community and Ohio employs more than 585,000 of your friends, neighbors and family. We have all experienced exemplary hospitality, celebrated life’s biggest moments, enjoyed a relaxing meal and some have even received a donation from a favorite restaurant. With our industry in a catastrophic state due the COVID-19 crisis, now is the time for Ohioans to respond. Now is the time to support those who have supported us and the communities we call home.
“We can all work together to support people in Ohio’s restaurant, foodservice and hospitality industry and help make it vibrant again.”
– John Barker, ORA President & CEO.
